STARKVILLE, Miss.鈥敽蒙壬€檚 Graduate School and the Graduate Student Association are collecting supplies Jan. 19-29 for Bully鈥檚 Closet and Pantry and the university鈥檚 Block by Block Program.

Bully鈥檚 Closet and Pantry provides nutritious food, toiletries, professional clothing, school supplies, and other necessary items to current MSU students free of charge. It is part of the , a broader initiative to meet students鈥� basic needs.

The Block by Block Program is a partnership between Aramark, the MSU Dean of Students鈥� Office and the MSU Student Association. It provides short-term assistance by allocating meals to students in need. MSU students with a valid meal plan to this program.

Donation items can be dropped off at the Graduate School, 617 Allen Hall. All members of the campus and local community are welcome to participate.

Most needed food items include:

鈥擬eals in a can (beef stew, chili, chicken noodle soup)

鈥擟anned proteins in water (tuna, salmon, chicken)

鈥擯eanut or other seed butters (crunchy and smooth)

鈥擟anned foods with pop-top lids

鈥擧ot/cold cereals

鈥�100% fruit juices in single serving boxes

鈥擟anned fruit

鈥擥ranola bars or light popcorn

鈥擴nsalted peanuts, other nuts, or mixed nuts

鈥擜pple sauce

Personal care items:

鈥擳oothpaste and toothbrushes (individually wrapped)

鈥擲oap or body wash
